Blair Hackleman enters her first season as the head coach of the Odessa College Spirit Squad. She was born and raised on Odessa, Texas and attended and actively participated in ECISD schools. She brings experience from dance competitions, performing and coaching.
Prior to coming to Odessa College, Hackleman served as an assistant to the Permian High School dance department and Varsity and Junior Varsity dance teams. She has also assisted in coaching and choreographing for numerous dance and cheer camps throughout Texas.
Hackleman has years of experience as a performer and competitor. She held a ranking officer position of her high school dance team that won national champions at American Dance and Drill Team. During her time in High school she was also on a competitive dance team at Alpha Cheer and Dance. Coach Hackleman was a member of an international hip-hop team that won the Worlds Competition in 2009, as well.
Coach Hackleman’s formal education consists of attending Texas Tech University where she earned her bachelors degree in Visual and Performing arts with a Major in dance. Her goals as the dance and cheer coach at Odessa College are not only to build onto and grow the program but also to pass on the experience and passion she has and still enjoys in this art and sport.
