Jeff Kelly
Head Athletic Trainer
Hometown: Odessa, TX

Jeff Kelly begins his eleventh year as head athletic trainer for all OC sports. Prior to coming to Odessa College, he served as head athletic trainer for Frank Philips College for two years.

As head trainer for the sports programs, his duties include direct care of student-athletes, supervision of the student athletic trainers, management and administration of the athletic training room, and assisting the director in planning the student trainer’s clinical experiences. He has assisted with sports medicine needs of the Odessa Jackalopes, Odessa Roughnecks, is an associate of the Justin Sports Medicine Program, as well as UIL athletic event and Friday night football games.

Jeff has served as a speaker at the Southwest Student Athletic Trainers Association meetings, the Permian Basin Student Trainers and Panhandle Trainers Association meetings.  He is currently a member of the Texas Society of Sports Medicine and is on the staff of the Ft. Davis Sports Medicine Clinic.

OC’s trainer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Abilene Christian University and completed his studies at Sul Ross State University earning a master’s degree in education.  Jeff is married to Olga Kelly and they have two daughter’s, six year old Ryan and two year Reagan.
